Soudad Foundation for Arts and Sustainable Development is an Iraqi non-governmental organisation headquartered in Mosul, Nineveh. The name “Soudad” conveys elevation, responsibility, and ethical leadership, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to using the arts in service of sustainable development, people, and the environment.

Why We Were Established

Soudad Foundation was established out of a deep belief in the role of art as a tool for awareness, an ethical responsibility, and an effective means of supporting pathways towards sustainable development.

To harness the arts in their various forms to strengthen environmental and community awareness, support sustainable practices, and contribute to building a balanced relationship between people and their environment, in alignment with human values, international standards, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Soudad Foundation for Arts and Sustainable Development is an Iraqi non-governmental organisation officially registered with the NGO Directorate of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. It was registered on 12 September 2024 and is headquartered in Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq.
